Stim-Root, like other rooting hormones, does not create roots; instead, it enhances the plant's natural ability to develop roots. It does this by supplying plant hormones at the rooting site, which helps initiate root growth.
For medium cuttings, it is recommended to use Stim-Root #2, which contains 0.4% Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA).
